Reef-safe sunscreen if you snorkel, a rash vest for children, and cash or a card for beach vendors you actually want to use. Light evening clothes are enough; the coast is humid. If you flew from the Mara, keep safari boots out of the suitcase you take onto the sand.
No. Mombasa is the city and ferry gateway. Diani is the resort beach south of that crossing. Many guests land in Mombasa and sleep in Diani.
No. Families use Diani as much as couples. Say ages so we do not suggest a honeymoon-only property.
