Malindi sits on Kenya’s north coast in Kilifi County. The shore is the reason most guests come — pale sand, hotel gardens and swimming when the tide and wind agree. The town behind it is older and busier than a resort strip: markets, Italian restaurants, and coral-stone traces of a Swahili port that also hosted Portuguese sailors.
Transcend requests hotel or villa rooms, a private car from Malindi Airport or the Mombasa road, and any guided town afternoon. We do not run Malindi Marine National Park, the Vasco da Gama Pillar or the Portuguese chapel. Those sites keep their own hours.

Malindi Marine National Park sits off this coast. Boat and snorkel time follow park rules and sea state. We will not promise daily reefs.

Guests who want a town with the swim. Repeat Kenya visitors who already know Diani. Families who prefer a hotel garden to a village cottage. It is a weaker fit if you only want marine-park silence — use Watamu — or a city airport night — use Mombasa.
Fly into Malindi when schedules help, or continue by road from Mombasa. Three nights is the short version; five lets a marine day wait for calmer water. Private cars are arranged through the same transfer conversation.
